Academic Accreditation Committee
Mandate and Major Objectives
The Academic Accreditation Committee (AAC) at the International Institute of Marketing Professionals (IIMP®) is responsible for planning, directing, administrating and evaluating the educational institution’s general education and transfer disciplines. The Committee members aid the Senior Vice President of Academic Accreditation for selecting and accrediting institutions in order to support IIMP’s accredited CMMP® designations. Additionally, the committee is in charge of coordinating policies and procedures related to the accreditation of educational centres. The Academic Accreditation Committee collaborates and communicates with the Education Management Committee (EMC) in order to discuss progressive marketing issues that can be implemented in educational curriculum.
The Academic Accreditation Committee (AAC) consists of the following dedicated teams that are focused to contribute to different areas:
1. Accreditation Program Development Team
The Accreditation Program Development Team is responsible for developing policies and procedures to recognize educational institutions that are offering academic diploma/degree programs with business and marketing courses required to meet the academic entrance requirements to enter the CMMP® designation. Furthermore, the team is in charge of developing comprehensive accreditation program in order to accredit institutions and study centres to offer programs academic and professional programs at various levels.
2. Academic Program Development Team
The academic program development team is responsible for creating detailed course outlines and program curriculum for non-marketing and marketing courses, certifications, diploma, and degree programs prescribed to complete in order to fulfil the entrance requirement to enter the study of CMMP® designation.
3. Institutional Communication Team
The institutional communication team is responsible for establishing a list of required learning objectives that will serve as the basis of verifying an academic program’s credibility, contacting educational institutions for educating them about IIMP® designation and its requirements. Furthermore, the team in charge of communicating with the relevant Governmental and private bodies in order to gain official permission for implementing IIMP’s educational programs in their counties. Moreover, the team is responsible for publishing a newsletter (periodical) to update educational and other relevant Institutions.
4. Accreditation Administration Team
The academic administration team is responsible for receiving applications from educational institutions and training centers and process them in accordance to IIMP®’s policies and procedures to either reject or grant them status of “Recognized Institutions”, “Accredited Institutions” and “Certified Study Centres”.
5. Education Promotional Team
The education promotional team is responsible for working with the IIMP’s Education Management Committee in order to arrange seminars, symposiums, workshops in different countries to encourage or motivate the students of recognized and accredited institutions/Certified Study centers and to create awareness of the make the CMMP® designation. Furthermore, the team is in charge of contacting, meeting, consulting with recruiting corporate firms/organizations/national and multinational companies for creating awareness of the CMMP® designation..

Authorized Education Centres Program Worldwide
The Academic Accreditation Committee (AAC) at IIMP® has formed the Authorized Education Centres Program that consists of two major areas that includes (Certified Marketing Management Professional) CMMP® Pre-Admission and Post-Admission Programs for recognizing and authorizing educational institutions worldwide. The two major areas have been divided into the following five categories in terms of recognizing or accrediting the educational institutions and exam centres worldwide to empower them to provide education and training programs required for candidates to enter and successfully achieve CMMP® designations.
1. IIMP® Recognized Institutions
2. IIMP® Accredited Institutions
3. IIMP® Certified Study Centres
4. IIMP® Authorized Professional Training Centres
5. IIMP® Authorized Exam Invigilation Centres
1. IIMP® Recognized Institutions
These are Universities and Colleges that are empowered to grant diplomas and/or undergraduate degrees and they offer business diplomas and/or business degrees such as BBA. These institutions that are not accredited by the IIMP® but they offer relevant courses, diploma and degree programs that may prepare their graduates to meet entrance requirements to enter the CMMP® designations. The graduates from these programs are assessed by the IIMP’s education management committee on case to case basis in order to ensure that they have taken required business and marketing courses and satisfy academic requirements to enter the CMMP® designations.
2. IIMP® Accredited Institutions
These are Universities and Colleges that are empowered to grant certification, diploma and undergraduate degree progream. These institutions have gone through a rigorous accreditation program offered by the IIMP® and have been recognized as an “IIMP® Accredited Institution”. These institutions are fully equipped to offer an accredited business certification, diploma and degree programs that includes all marketing and non-marketing courses to prepare their graduates to meet all entrance requirements to enter the CMMP® designations.
3. IIMP® Certified Study Centres
These institutions have gone through an assessment program offered by the IIMP® and have achieved a status of an “IIMP® Certified Study Centre”. The IIMP® Certified Study Centres are equipped to deliver professional development training courses and/or certification preparation for completing the necessary topics of CMMP® designations in accordance to contents stated in the CMMP® handbook and prepare candidates to write final exam given by the IIMP®’s head office, in order to earn CMMP® designations.
4. Authorized Professional Training Centres
These institutions have been established as one of those type of centers including Corporate Training, Study Centres, Executive Training Centers and Professional Development Centers. The IIMP®’s Academic Accreditation Committee (ACC) has accessed them and established agreements with them in order to empower them to deliver training courses/workshops relevant to professional development.
4. IIMP® Authorized Exam Invigilation Centres
These are Educational Institutions have met all requirements and become an “IIMP® Authorized Exam Invigilation Center”. The IIMP-AEIC will be established globally and expected to maintain high standards in facilitating and supervising the candidates for writing the examinations to achieve CMMP® designations.

The Business Strategy Committee at IIMP® is responsible for managing the organization’s strategic direction. Their goals include introducing business development initiatives that are consistent with the organization’s overall strategy. Career Development Committee
The Career Development Committee is responsible for establishing extended career support services for marketing professionals by ensuring that effective educational and skills development programs are in place, creating awareness of IIMP and connecting certified professionals to relevant employers for career advancement.
Objectives:
1) Create awareness of IIMP among potential employers and relevant agencies.
2) Conduct market intelligence to learn about training and skills in demand.
3) Measure effectiveness of IIMP’s professional development programs.
4) Provide extended career support to CMMP designation holders.
5) Connecting certified professionals to potential employers.

Conference and Awards Committee
The Conference and Awards Committee’s mandate includes creating awareness of IIMP and appreciating marketing global community through organizing “IIMP Marketing World Congress”, participating in major marketing conferences and establishing extensive award programs in order to appreciate outstanding accomplishments of the marketing students, practitioners, academicians globally.
The following are seven sub-committees and their objectives:
1- IIMP Global Awareness:
• Build on the increased global, regional and local awareness and understanding of IIMP’s mission and vision and drive attitude and new marketing standards in the business world.
• Work and engage with staff and volunteers at all levels to deliver cross – organizational social marketing campaigns.
• Develop and manage the Global Awareness Team and ensure their work is delivered on time and as per the IIMP’s conference and awards committee standards
• Design, deliver and evaluate social marketing campaigns, and provide oversight on the Society’s plans to improve global image and awareness
• Lead the development of communications program to engage key audiences in work to make local communities more IIMP’s cause driven
2 – Conference Partnerships:
• Plan and facilitate structure and content of all conference planning meetings.
• Work with conference and awards committee chair and IIMP management team to refine and implement conferences vision and goals. Develop and implement conference schedule and various conference plans
• Identify conference issues & gaps with immediate or long term impact on IIMP’s vision and plan, implement and control resolution tactics.
• Manage all committee volunteers and professional management associated with the conference. Also, determine and communicate management structure for the conference.
• Support in recruiting appropriate volunteers for all conference committee positions.
• Participate in pre-conference, on-site and post-conference preps and roll out plans.
3 – Annual Congress:
• Setup, plan and support in reviewing IIMP Global Annual congress
• Plan budget for organizing the annual congress.
• Plan and drive revenues through appropriate streams to fulfill required budget
• Oversee IIMP Global Annual congress event mechanisms, communications, marketing administration, timelines, speakers, attendees
• Work with various co-chairs within the conference and awards committee in driving event success and planning stipulated framework
• Develop a process map for meetings and conventions
• Maintain a series of communications designed to be distributed to all stakeholders at routine status meetings
• Completing and publishing a debrief report for meetings and congresses to include evaluation scores from attendees, stakeholders and co-chairs
• Publish the yearly Global Congress calendar.
4 – Virtual Conference:
• Responsible for identifying, planning and executing a variety of virtual event-based programs including project managing event related print and design deliverables
• Plan budget for organizing the case competition.
• Plan and drive revenues through appropriate streams to fulfill required budget
• Define event goals, strategies, measurement criteria and drive planning meetings with conference and awards team and IIMP management team and other virtual teams
• Identify other marketing opportunities around events beyond exhibition space including speaking opportunities and lead generation activities
• Advise and recommend global and local conference listings that strategically align, discuss and present ideas, plans and statistical studies that meet with IIMP’s strategic vision and goals.
5 – Research Paper Competition:
• Plan budget for organizing the Research Paper Competition.
• Plan and drive revenues through appropriate streams to fulfill required budget
• Manage and co-ordinate the organization and delivery of a competition program in liaison with IIMP competition framework.
• Develop new / existing framework and lead the implementation of the competition frameworks by working closely with co-chairs and/or partners in the overall implementation program
• Adopt out of the box collaborative and participative models that create internal and external need for research papers and accommodate these research papers in accordance.
• Manage all committee volunteers and professional management associated with the conference. Also, determine and communicate management structure for the conference
6 – Case Competition:
• Participate and represent IIMP in internal and external case competitions set by the conference and awards committee chair and IIMP management team.
• Plan budget for organizing the case competition(s).
• Plan and drive revenues through appropriate streams to fulfill required budget
• Promote Internal and external competitions that drive IIMP’s strategic vision and act as a liaison competition organizers and CMMP program managers.
• Setup and build case completion collaterals, guidelines and rules (team composition, case analysis, resources, presentations, etc..)
• Assess feasibility and carry on planning activities for IIMP’s or any case competition set by conference and awards committee and IIMP management team.
• Manage all sub-committee volunteers and professional management associated with the conference / case competition.
7 – Awards for Practitioners:
• Ensure efficient and effective management of awards to marketing practitioners.
• Plan budget for organizing the event and required awards.
• Plan and drive revenues through appropriate streams to fulfill required budget
• Maintain regular contact with global partner awards reps to exchange information on status of awards
• Facilitate negotiation of sub-awards agreements between IIMP member organizations and partners in accordance with the IIMP’s principles and frameworks
• Review all award agreements for IIMP management and brief conference and awards committee on potential areas of risk
• Maintain and regularly review, upload documents and update Award Management System
Objectives:
1) – Organize the “IIMP Marketing World Congress” around the globe.
2) – Initiate and manage collaborations with academic / industrial conferences.
3) – Evaluate papers and present awards to the deserving candidates within the marketing discipline.

Global Alliances Committee
The Global Alliances Committee at IIMP® is responsible for the direction and management of development and growth of Alliances and setting IIMP® institutes in order to establish Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards and IIMP®’s marketing designations around the world.
The Committee is in charge of confirming that all IIMP® Institutes are in compliance with the procedures and policies stipulated in the by-laws of IIMP®. Additionally the Global Alliances Committee maintains relationships with IIMP® institutes’ local management teams and develop and implement strategies for expanding the IIMP® reach world-wide. The Global Alliances Committee on a regular basis collaborates and communicates with the Membership Services Committee in order to align objectives and share membership data.
Additionally, the global team provides technical and advisory support to all relevant committees including: membership development, global alliances, brand management, education management and academic accreditation in the areas of research, planning and program implementation.
The global team is led by the Senior Vice President of Global Alliances; the framework consists of core team that includes 5 vice presidents, each resonsible for a different global zone and global team that includes 19 regional directors who are responsible for supervising and monitoring 51 associate regional directors and country managers within their regions. All continents have been divided into the following seventeen manageable regions.

Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards Committee
The Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards (IAMST) Committee at IIMP® is responsible for managing and developing IIMP® marketing designations and the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards (IAMST) Handbook. Additionally, the committee will research and develop policies and procedures required for the implementation of IIMP® certification programs. A key role for the IAMST Committee is to provide feedback and suggestions to the Vice President of IAMST in order to improve IIMP® designations and the IAMST Handbook.

Marketing and Communications Committee
The Marketing and Communications Committee directive is to identify market opportunities and customer segments for the organization to target while building the organizations deliverables and bringing them to market. The Marketing and Communications Committee is made up of four teams: Product Development, Brand Management, Marketing Communications, and Market Planning and Research.
Product Development team
The Product development team works together with the various committees of the IIMP® to help prepare the organization’s products and services for market. The product development team finalizes and polishes the marketing objectives and market strategy for each product and service offered by the IIMP®. Product managers work in conjunction with Brand Managers, the Marketing Communications team, and the Market Planning and Research team, to insure each product and service provided by the organization is brought to market in a timely and effective manner. The Product Managers provide a needed market support function for each of the IIMP® Committees who are responsible for defining the nature of the organizations offerings.
Brand Management team
The Brand Management team is responsible for managing the brands of the IIMP®. The team develops the IIMP® designation strategy, CMMP® designation strategy, IAMS® designation strategy and manages all aspects of the brand principles and rules, ensuring the brands are maintained to the highest standard in all IIMP® institutes around the world. Brand Managers will designate the use of the brands for country chapters, partnering and other uses. The Brand Management team is responsible for insuring consistent brand recognition and compatibility in markets around the world. The Brand Management team on a regular basis will be collaborating and communicating with the other marketing teams and with other Committee’s within the IIMP® structure in order to align the brand strategies with the overall business strategy.
Marketing Communications team
The Marketing Communications Team is responsible for developing all internal and external marketing communication infrastructure and messages. This includes but is not limited to the organizations web-site, social media presence, digital and print advertising, direct e-mail and database communications, and PR. The marketing team develops the marketing, digital and advertising strategy for the IIMP® CMMP®, IAMS® and other products and services of the organization. The Marketing Communications team will be collaborating and communicating with the other marketing teams, and with the various Committee’s within the IIMP® to provide effective internal and external messages for the appropriate target constituencies.
Market Planning and Research team
The Market Planning and Research team prepares long term market plans and strategy for the organization and its products based on sound consumer and market based research. The team identifies market opportunities, refines the specifics of the target markets and helps define the positioning of the organization in the marketplace. The Market Planning and Research team collaborates with other marketing teams, and with the various Committee’s within the IIMP® to provide market research and planning support for the organization.

Membership Development Committee
The Membership Development Committee’s responsibility includes directing and managing the development and growth of IIMP® memberships. The committee have the tasks of researching specific membership development areas including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, distribution and channel strategy.
Additionally, the committee is responsible for creating, maintaining and distributing the membership guide. The committee is in charge of identifying, securing and promoting new and expanded existing member benefits and the creation, maintenance and promotion of membership resources. Moreover, the committee members assist the Chair Membership Development in the creation and maintenance of the database of all current and former members.
