International Institute of Marketing Professionals (IIMP™) will be introducing the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards (IAMS) Handbook, which will contain a description of generally accepted practices in the field of marketing and will set the criteria for marketing designations

Toronto, Canada —December 1, 2009—Today, International Institute of Marketing Professionals has introduced the development of the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards (IAMS) Handbook which will contain a description of generally accepted practices in the field of marketing and will set the marketing designations. After extensive marketing research conducted by IIMP™’s executive team it was decided that the organization will take a step towards becoming the leading professional association that will research, develop, implement and maintain internationally accepted practices in the field of marketing.

“In order to achieve our new objective of developing Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards, we are pleased and excited to introduce the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards Board and the International Advisory Council for the Marketing Profession of IIMP™” says Nisar Butt, President and Chief Executive Officer of IIMP™.

The Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards Board will consist of academic leaders, consultants and business professionals with experience and expertise in the marketing field. The IAMS Board will communicate and collaborate with the International Advisory Council for the Marketing Profession who will provide the IAMS Board with their valuable input on the development and implementation of Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards and designations that are offered by IIMP™.

The next objective for the International Institute of Marketing Professionals is to search and recruit qualified individuals with extensive knowledge and experience in the marketing field to join the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards Board and the International Advisory Council for the Marketing Profession of IIMP™.
