The Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards (IAMS) Board Leadership Concluded — Four IAMS board members have been elected to lead the IAMS board
Toronto, Canada — 19 July 2010 – Four IAMS board members have been elected to lead the IAMS board
The International Institute of Marketing Professionals (IIMP™) is delighted to announce the conclusion of the organizational structure of the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards (IAMS) Board, which represents the G-20 countries, in an effort to enable the Board to function independently; four members have been elected to lead the operations of the IAMS Board.
The elected Board leadership will offer their highly regarded expertise to help develop, expand and increase the profile & standards of marketing, they are all advocates of professional standards within the marketing profession and have extensive experience of senior business leadership in both the academic and corporate arenas, the leadership structure will include a President & 3 SVPs of; Operations, Finance & Communications.
Dr. Christophe Bisson, will head the IAMS Board as its President, Dr. Bisson comes with a wealth of academic as well as professional credentials. He is an academician specialised in marketing intelligence/Internet marketing at Kadir Has University (Istanbul) and a leading authority on competitive intelligence with extensive international experience in the corporate world as a senior business leader as well as consultant. A part of his work has been rewarded as the best Competitive Intelligence action in France by the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals. He holds a MSc. & PhD both in competitive intelligence from the University Paul Cézanne (Marseille).
Professor Kunal Gaurav, Senior Vice President of Operations, responsible for leading the finalization and documentation of the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards, is a distinguished academician with a focus on Marketing Management. He is an AIMA – Accredited Management Teacher and currently working as an Associate Professor in the area of Marketing Management at Dhruva College of Management (DCM), Hyderabad, India. He is the Editor of an international level management journal “Vidwat: The Indian Journal of Management”.
Professor Gaurav has published a number of books as well as various articles and research papers in the area of General Management, relationship marketing, Brand Management and Social Entrepreneurship. A member of All India Management Association (AIMA), Hyderabad Management Association (HMA) and Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), Professor Gaurav is gold medalist in MBA – Marketing from L N Mishra Institute of Economic Development and Social Change, Patna and he is currently pursuing a PhD – Business Administration from AIMA – AMU.
Ms. Jacqueline Humphries, Senior Vice President of Finance, responsible for leading the planning and implementing of strategies to generate funds in order to run the operations relevant to the development of the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards, Ms. Jacqualene is a senior business leader with extensive experience in the fields of Marketing & Business Development, in her long corporate experience she successfully managed considerable budgets translating into a track record of successful strategies, she is currently a Chief Marketing Officer for a leading telecommunications company in South Africa, Ms. Jacqualene holds an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria.
Mr. Mohamed T. Kesseba, Senior Vice President of Communications, responsible for leading the planning and implementation strategies, dealing with the media globally and promoting the Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards, Mr. Kesseba comes with more than 15 years of international experience in the fields of Marketing & Strategy; his remit covered the Middle east & Europe, with leading Global names, he also maintained extensive experience in the areas of training/instructing, executive education & consultancy, with acknowledged regional players & institutions, A regular conference speaker, A Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK, and the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals SCIP, USA. Mr. Kesseba Holds an MBA from ESLSCA France, an Executive professional postgraduate diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK where he is in the Final stage of being conferred a Chartered Marketer Status, and is currently pursuing his doctoral degree at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot Watt University UK.
